       | Hey there. I hope you're having a great start to the new year.
       |
       | My name is Koray. I've been programming since I was ten years
       | old, starting with computer magazines. It quickly turned into my
       | career, and I've had the opportunity to work in various companies
       | since I was 16.
       |
       | Eight years ago, at the age of 23, I started my first company.
       | Since then, I've been involved in different roles, primarily
       | focusing on technical product leadership and cross-platform
       | application development. Some of the products I have built and
       | helped build have been embraced by millions of users, received
       | awards, and consistently maintained high rankings on app stores.
       |
       | Recently, my latest pursuit came to an end due to funding
       | constraints. Now, I'm excited to explore new opportunities where
       | I can wear different hats. I'm open to any industry and I'm
       | technology-agnostic.
       |
       | I love learning new things and have a wide range of interests,
       | including 3D printing, IoT, and home automation. On a fun note, I
       | also collect vinyls, synthesisers and groove boxes.
       |
       | You can find additional information on my website and CV. If
       | there is a match, let's chat!

       | Designer/developer with about 15 years experience making things
       | for the web and beyond. I've had titles like design technologist,
       | interaction designer, front-end developer and UX designer,
       | working for design agencies and product startups. Reach out for
       | CV and portfolio.
       |
       | I'd love to find a product team who are solving design problems
       | with code, and who see that good user experience is not a layer
       | at the top of the stack, but something that is equally concerned
       | with decisions below the surface. (Although I very much do care
       | about that surface level polish too, such as interactivity,
       | typography, copy, visual hierarchy and clear affordances)
       |
       | For complex design problems, I like to look for the smallest set
       | of primitives or basic rules that can support user needs and
       | desired outcomes, and try to build the design "bottom-up" from
       | those. This tends to lead to elegant solutions with fewer edge
       | cases and exceptions, and hold up better when having to adapt to
       | previously unknown needs. If you are working on something
       | interesting that fits this description, and need a designer who

       | Hey - my name is Isaac Ballone.
       |
       | I'm passionate about programming, and I'm quick to learn. Most of
       | my experience is in full-stack development, but my interests span
       | all across the board.
       |
       | I started in software by maintaining waveform code for military
       | radios. I dug deep into legacy C++ code and closely followed
       | strict specifications. From there, I found my way into B2B
       | ecommerce, serving customers all around the world. Then I planned
       | a break to dedicate myself to my own projects!
       |
       | I released https://messagehighway.com, an SMS service written in
       | Clojure for organizers to easily communicate with their users. I
       | am becoming more involved in the open source community by sharing
       | my libraries and packages on Github
       | (https://github.com/balloneij). I am most proud of Slouch, which
       | is the first idiomatic Clojure interface to Apache CouchDB :).
       |
       | I love challenging work, I'm quick to learn, and I thrive working
       | in enthusiastic teams.
       |

       | Hi! I'm a motivated software engineer with 2 years of experience.
       | I've been a contractor at a major pharma company, building up
       | tooling around our internal scientific database and doing some
       | data analysis on the science side while I was there. Later, I was
       | with a smaller fintech company and built out the VS Code language
       | support for an internal scripting/templating language--this was
       | all done in OCaml.
       |
       | I'd love to work on software whose target audience is other
       | developers. I'm very interested in programming languages,
       | compilers, OS/systems programming, databases, and back-end work
       | in general, but happy to stretch to front-end or (if a position
       | calls for it) software eng/data analysis that's closer to the
       | natural sciences.

       | 13 years of experience in startup software development and DevOps

       |
       | Looking for an engineering manager or senior IC position to
       | mentor your team and make something people want.
       |
       | Here are a sample of things I've accomplished:
       |
       | * I built a platform for hosting web applications using
       | Kubernetes at a major cloud provider and taught engineers to
       | operate and improve it. It uses Helm to manage the instances of
       | the single-tenant app and includes a Python application to manage
       | the customer instances based on configuration from the
       | subscription management vendor.
       |
       | * I trained and mentored a team of developers in software
       | patterns, communication, and prioritizing work, and I reduced
       | context switching in the team's workflows, leading to a 72%
       | increase in velocity in two months.
       |
       | * I maintain the community Apt package for Helm, the Kubernetes
       | package manager, which is downloaded more than 200,000 times per
       | month.
       |
       | * I improved performance of a proprietary VPN by adopting Cython,
       | permitting use of C functions in Python, resulting in a 2.5x
       | increase in network throughput when limited by CPU
       |
       | * I created a system to control calls in Asterisk with AI-trained
       | voice commands ("hey asterisk, dial extension 1")
       |
       | * In progress- I'm managing a project for getting a B2B SaaS
       | company a SOC 2 Type II report

       |
       | I have a little over 8 years of professional experience working
       | with both large and small teams covering both front-end and
       | backend architecture and tooling and full-stack feature planning,
       | development, deployment, QA, and maintenance.
       |
       | My approach to feature/architecture planning and development is
       | to work through requirements directly with product owners and to
       | iteratively build out the systems they need. Each step in that
       | process sheds more light on what is possible, what the
       | requirements and scopes of the projects actually are, and what
       | changes and alterations to the design should be made. In my
       | experience following an iterative, agile approach where product
       | owners are kept in-the-loop throughout the entire dev cycle
       | results is vastly better products.
       |
       | I'm very good at getting up to speed with new technologies and
       | requirements and thrive solving difficult or nebulous problems.
       | My development background has required me to pick up a broad
       | range of skills and to tackle a broad range of problems from
       | security design to debugging and patching 3rd-party libraries.
       | It's my policy to try and leave teams, products, and codebases in
       | a better position and in a better condition than I found them.
       |
       | I am currently interested in both consulting and contracting
       | roles. My dev process when contracting is very similar to how I
       | approach consulting tasks; I believe there's a huge value add in
       | making sure that development processes are tightly integrated
       | into the planning and design of features, products, and
       | architecture. If you have an interesting problem to solve, I'd

       |
       | Here's my pitch: I have experience in a multitude of industries

       |
       | I'd love to explore other technical positions in the games

       | to crunch and (b) my skill set does not lay that way; other tech-
       | creative industries would also appeal to me! Another particular
       | interest is in B2C businesses where the 'C' is software
       | developers. I'd love to chat and network about opportunities; if

       | A little about myself: My CV is not up to date, I have been
       | working as non-founding CTO for a smaller games company for the
       | last 18 months. During this time I have been responsible for 12
       | direct reports and 25-ish indirect reports. I've revamped and
       | refined the technology direction (going from an outsourced tech
       | prototype to a beta-released quality product), grown the team
       | (and culture) from 4 persons to a 50 person startup, including
       | managing software licensing and budgeting, I have lead direction
       | on the behaviour of online systems, conformance testing for non-
       | PC platforms.
       |
       | I also acted as legal guarantor, streamlined developer
       | productivity with better (and easier to collaborate) tools
       | including a migration from Office365 to Google Workspace,
       | Bitbucket->Gitlab, SVN->Perforce Helix (game studio, of course)
       | and standardised on an IDE platform that supports remote and live
       | collaborative development, I have acted as mentor to over 4
       | people in very disparate areas of the tech organisation (Build
       | Engineering, Gameplay programming, tools programming and online
       | backend team). I have also been the person primarily responsible
       | for creating realistic milestones while taking into consideration
       | our limited capacity and externally communicated ambitious
       | deadlines -- without the expertise of a project manager or
       | producer. -- all of this in a fully remote environment.
       |
       | I seem to be received well as a senior manager, based on what my
       | reports say to the head of operations at least, but I prefer
       | going technically deep on topics and not spending all my time in
       | more high level areas (and meetings). In my professional life I
       | have had success as an SRE-type person but would prefer perhaps
       | to work in developer experience or backend programming roles.
       |
       | I have previously released games as part of a very small Live
       | Operations team such as: "Tom Clancy's The Division" and it's
       | sequel "The Division 2"; as part of Ubisoft/Massive and I
       | released "Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt" as part of
       | Tencent/Sharkmob. Before this I worked in eCommerce. In all
       | positions I was SRE. Ask me about the depth of my automation if
       | you want war stories. :)
       |
       | I have gone extremely deep into linux system internals, databases
       | and networking. My knowledge of Rust and Python is strong but my
       | Go is a little lackluster unfortunately as on a personal level I
       | dislike its slice mutability semantics and propensity for data
       | races (which do not exist in Rust and is something that the GIL
       | outright kills in Python)
       |
       | I'm open to relocation, and even taking a pretty drastic pay cut
       | as I'm currently paid as a CTO.. What I really need is a culture
       | of trust and autonomy, as I have strong intrinsic motivation and
       | a decent amount of skill but unfortunately I dislike politics and
       | bureaucracy.
