| Of the time I wasted reading most of TFA, I kept thinking "too
| bad 'Apple' doesn't have an 'S' that the writer could substitute
| with '$'."
|
| _And that's on top of Apple's other unethical behavior, like the
| usurious 15% to 30% tax of every dollar spent on the app store_
|
| Argue about the percentage, but to call a reseller's markup
| "unethical" tells me someone doesn't want to have an
| intellectually honest conversation. Other examples abound, "never
| trust a monopolist..." without even the slightest hint of what or
| how Apple is a monopoly, we're just supposed to take it as a
| given. Oh, well, I had five minutes to waste.

|
| Of course it's not guaranteed, but the "tracking" revealed isn't
| concerning to me at all. I would assume the App Store and iTunes
| have analytics, just like I know that blocking Google Analytics
| doesn't prevent first-party analytics in the browser.

| Previously, when enabled, Airdrop allowed anyone nearby to send a
| share. Not you have to enable Airdrop to receive something. I
| don't understand how this prevents users from sharing information
| without the Internet just as it did before? It was never possible
| to mass Airdrop.
|
| Is it the extra step that means they've caved to the CCP? Or is
| it more likely that this was intended to prevent people
| airdropping, malicious or other undesirable things.
