         | that the _recovery_ will be long.

         | As to why, it's not explained in depth, probably because it's
         | slides in a presentation and not an economics textbook. But the
         | previous slide with the "the pain" in big letters lists a few
         | factors that contribute to the issues: Pandemic, War, Supply
         | chain issues, inflation, etc. Most/all of these things can take
         | years to recover from. The war will very likely take at least a
         | few years, so economic pains from russia not delivering will
         | continue in europe (and many resources, russia still delivers,
         | so the effect isn't even felt yet in its entirety). Inflation,
         | even if the original causes of it are gone, usually takes a
         | couple of price increase cycles to slow down as well. The covid
         | pandemic isn't over yet either, especially in countries with a
         | 0 covid strategy, namely China, which makes supply chain issues
         | even worse.
