| Servo seems like such a good idea and it's pretty far along...why
| did Mozilla kill it? It seems it could have been a contender for
| embedded render in all kinds of apps - perhaps an alternative to
| Electron.

| Linux Foundation even wanted to do with Servo. From the
| perspective of an outsider looking in, they basically took
| control over the project and immediately stuck it on a shelf. And
| I know I don't have the full picture -- but it kind of makes me
| wonder what the point of moving the project over even was. What's
| the advantage of having Servo under the Linux Foundation? What
| happened because of that move, and what was developed/planned as
| a result of the Linux Foundation being involved?
