| these folks deserve it. the app is amazing. but i'm still super
| sad, this used to be such an easy recommendation, such a stunning
| experience. it's mot really possible to see what a good app this
| is anymore, short of signing up.

| How so? At least in my area you can still use the core
| functionality -- search an address, get directions there --
| without logging in. It's been a while since I used it, though.

| I was trying to understand what buses might be available in
| my area, to explore what options were & where they might go.
| This is a general browsing that I use regularly. Required a

| Transit is a great app. The UI for discovering routes and multi-
| modal planning features beats all the competition.
|
| I knew there was going to have to be monetization at some point,
| hopefully this can help sustain them. I don't know if they get a
| cut, but I typically buy my passes through the app.
|
| Hoping more transit agencies will partner or license their app to
| enable the extra features. My local agency uses Moovit/Token
| Transit for payment and routing, which has a poor UI in
| comparison. Transit planning on Google Maps is pretty lackluster.
|
| If anyone at Transit reads this, would love to see the options to
| extend the walking time or speed used for estimates. For example,
| check that I have a bike or e-bike, or walk fast and can get to a
| further stop faster. A lot of the time, I can walk a lot faster
| than the app estimates. Basically, the opposite of the "minimize
| walking" feature.
