Ask HN: What are some good personal development courses for
software engineers?
Lots of organizations out there offer Stipends for learning and
development (directly related to job or not related to job
sometimes). Usually these come from (but are not limited to)
training courses, certifications, conferences, subscriptions,
books, education material, and online learnings. What are some
resources that you have found useful for career growth ? PS: I
work in distributed system software development(cloud, kubernetes,
etc..) but any thing that enriches your knowledge in general will
do too.

| Creative writing too, great to help with documentation, blogs,

| Did a sailing class too, not much related to IT, but interesting.
| Especially navigation, lat lon, the instruments used, etc.

| As for IT related coursea, I think re-taking basic classes like
| compilers, linguistics 101, data structures, calculus, is always
| fun to remember and learn as well.
