Ask HN: Opportunities for Programmer/Lawyers?
There's a lot of talk about switching careers from law to tech. But
are there any opportunities in law where my programming background
would be a valuable asset? I don't have a technical degree, so I
don't think I'm a candidate for patent law.

| with both parties, the potential experts, the judge. It would be
| just an incredibly valuable asset.

| Not just in litigation, but drafting contracts having a
| programming background and knowing how projects go, how estimates
| work, and the common problems would also be helped if the lawyer
| drafting them has a programming background.
