| Agree with the humor.

| A lot of the problem in IoT is that anyone who cares is
| _already_ monitoring. So, you need to find someone who cares to
| implement monitoring, has money to implement monitoring, but
| doesn 't already have monitoring in place. It's a small window.
|
| Even worse, many companies who could benefit _don 't want to
| know_. Knowledge brings _certain_ legal liability--ignorance
| can be argued around.

| Looks like a neat idea. How is it powered?
| buescher wrote:
| If it's not powered by a coin cell or cells, I'll be very
| surprised. Maybe a tiny rechargeable lithium pack? Do they make
| them that small?

| I like it. It sounds very silly, very IoT-all-the-things, but
| I've without question seen situations where they'd be worth the
| investment and then some.
|
| Could pose some organisations an interesting dilemma, where to
| draw the line for the extra expense.

| Omega used to sell load bolts that were basically a hollow bolt
| with a strain gauge inside. Sort of like this:

| If you need that kind of thing, a wireless version would be
| great. I'm torn between kicking myself for not having thought of
| it and skepticism over the size of their market.

| Here are their US patents:
