| Does anyone know how to build website with tutorial/source code

| For the longest time, I really want to know how to make SF start

| Bootstrap,SASS, React tutorial, none of them show example how to

| Try starting with https://jekyllrb.com/showcase/
|
| It's actually pretty easy (on a technical level at least) to go
| from one of those templates to something that resembles
| scale.com. Bonus that it's easy to host on GitHub for free.

| This reminds me of Bootstrap Studio for build UI for boostrap,

| rrahian wrote:
| @synergy20 Sure :) you can try our free version, if you want.
| Looking forward to your next bootstrap project.

| With the one time purchase, is it correct to assume we'll have

| rrahian wrote:
| @slimskim Hey, yes of course :) .. not only just tailwind of

| However:

| >Personal & Commercial use policy If you purchase our

| So which one is it? One time purchase or a subscription?
| rrahian wrote:
| Hi, @artiscode our subscription plan is one time payment. We
| don't charge yearly or monthly :)
| DrammBA wrote:
| I don't think that word means what you think it means.

| Yes it's a mistake from our side & we will change it :)

| I'm personally a fan of products like this especially for early

|
| I'll give you the same feedback as I gave the chakra UI people in
| regards to the commercial use policy: Be explicit on whether
| redistribution in form of on-prem products is ok or not, it's
| unclear (to me) in the current messaging. Best to explicitly call
| out, something like "use in your SaaS and on-prem product as well
| as internal systems".
|
| Edit: formatting

| While not trying to take away anything from the efforts of OP, I
| wish this was open source as the original framework is. I usually
| save the "kitchen sink" page for snippets with bootstrap and use
| those to build the equivalent UI's. The messaging around this is
| all mixed. One time purchase but then says subscription. I won't
| be using this as I'm not the intended audience I feel. It's easy
| for me to just build a form or layout with bootstrap or ui-kit or
| _name-your-css-framework_ with their included examples. Sometimes
| I've even bought a complete theme package off of sites like
| themeforest for the same price. Kudos to them though for trying
| to make it more accessible to new devs if that was their intent.
| qwerty456127 wrote:
| > I wish this was open source as the original framework is

| I believe it's a problem people believe all open source has to
| be free. And this includes businesses who think open-sourcing
| something necessarily means giving it away. In fact it is
| totally OK to ship an entirely commercial (one-time purchase or
| subscription) product together with its source code but license
| it the way people won't be legally allowed to distribute forks
| nor use it without paying. For users this is still better than
| no-source because good source code is of great value as a form
| of documentation at least.
| opencl wrote:
| That sort of arrangement is generally referred to as "source
| available" rather than "open source". The ability to fork and
| redistribute I think is typically considered a core aspect of
| open source.
|
| And this product is presumably already source available since
| it consists of source code for you to integrate into your own
| projects.
| gabereiser wrote:
| I totally agree with you. My comment on it being "open
| source" was meant as more of an open code model with
| donations and contributions kinda thing. I can take
| bootstrap, or ui-kit, or whatever and build what I want with
| it. I can donate back. Source via paywall isn't that helpful
| in this case as any "component" is easily created and styled
| by someone who has skills in html/css/js. As I mentioned, I
| sometimes will buy entire themes from sites that give me not
| only style but common components I can just implement. I'm
| not adverse to this, but to simply take away the theme and
| just provide components, to me, isn't worth the paywall.
| rrahian wrote:
| @gabereiser thank you for your kind words :) Our plan is fully
| one time purchase not subscription it's a mistake & we will
| remove it :)

| Thank you

| Feedback: the scroll position of the linked page jumps around

| pop-in or something else, between that and the "white flash"
| effect when I loaded the page, I closed the tab from motion

| The blocks look good, but I couldn't keep the page open. I
