About the role

We founded Bild AI to tackle the mess that is blueprint reading, cost
estimation, and permit applications in construction. It's a tough
technical problem that requires the newest CV and AI approaches, and
we're impact-driven to make it more efficient to build more houses,
hospitals, and schools. Featured on Business Insider.

You'll

  * Own features end-to-end -- interview customers every week and
    watch them use the product, and ship the feature they need by the
    next week
  * Build UIs that make complex blueprint and hardware data feel
    simple for people who've been doing this on paper for 20 years
  * Work across the stack: React frontend, Python backend + infra
  * Shape what we build next, not just how we build it

We want

  * Great product taste -- you care about how things look, feel, and
    work for the user
  * 0-to-1 architect and builder who can work across the entire stack
  * Comfort talking to customers directly and translating messy
    domain knowledge into clean product decisions
  * Growth mindset, slope > y-intercept
  * Communicate with empathy and honesty. Tell us what makes you
    happy/unhappy
  * Don't mind schlep. We are regularly knee-deep in schlep

Bonus points (if any)

  * Have built something people used/paid for (founder/startup)
  * Have a construction background
  * Are impact-driven

Bild AI is an early-stage startup with a ton of really difficult
technical challenges to solve. We're building blueprint understanding
with a model-garden approach, so there is a lots of ground to break.
We raised from the top VCs in the world before demo day and have a
customer-obsessed approach to product development.
