You stand upon the cusp of the unknown. The Labyrinth of Time's Edge
has erupted into a vast and untamed world of 3,999 handcrafted rooms,
each echoing with new horrors, mysteries, and echoes of forgotten
souls. Every corridor tells a story, every shadow hides something
waiting to be unearthed. The world has grown so immense that even the
most seasoned adventurers will find themselves lost, humbled, and
reborn in its depths. The werewolves, undead, spiders, and spectral
ladies that now wander these halls mark a turning point, a reminder
that no map is complete, no victory final. The rules have changed.
What you thought you knew about mastery, exploration, and courage
will be tested anew. This is no longer just a journey through text;
it's a descent into creation itself, a boundless realm forged in
imagination, fear, and faith.

**UPDATE INSTALLATION**

To play the latest version of The Labyrinth of Time's Edge, simply
replace your original ROOMS.txt and INTERACTIONS.txt files with the
newest versions included in the update. This will seamlessly expand
your existing game world with the latest story content, interactions,
and room data, bringing the full 3,999-room adventure to life.

System Requirements

Because it's built in QBasic/QB64 with the soul of a DOS-era
adventure, the requirements are light:

  * Operating System: Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 (or DOS emulator such as
    DOSBox for Linux/macOS)

  * Processor: 1 GHz or faster

  * Memory: 512 MB RAM

  * Storage: 10 MB available space

  * Display: Basic VGA or higher

  * Input: Keyboard

Line 15429 and line 16409 in rooms.txt have some typos.
