Amazon Appstore on Android and Coins will be discontinued on August
20, 2025.
Starting August 20, 2025, you will no longer have access to the
Amazon Appstore on your Android device.
We will also be discontinuing the Amazon Coins program on August 20,
2025. As of Feb 20, 2025, Amazon Coins are no longer available for
purchase.

What happens to my apps after the discontinuation of the Amazon
Appstore on Android?
Starting August 20, 2025, any apps downloaded from the Amazon
Appstore will not be guaranteed to operate on Android devices.
Amazon Appstore will continue to be available elsewhere, including on
Fire TV and Fire Tablet devices.
I uninstalled the Amazon Appstore on Android. How can I re-install
it?

How can I manage my Appstore Subscriptions?

3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Update your subscription as needed

You have until August 20, 2025 to use any remaining Amazon Coins.

Amazon Coins are no longer available for purchase as of February 20,
2025.
Can I make an Appstore purchase with a combination of Amazon Coins
and another payment method?
No, you must make an Appstore purchase with either all Amazon Coins
or entirely with another payment method.
How can I view my current Coins balance?
To view your Amazon Coins balance, log in to your Amazon Appstore on
your device and check it on the home page.
What happens if I do not have enough unused Amazon Coins to make an
Appstore purchase?
If you do not have enough Amazon Coins to make an Appstore purchase,
you can use another payment method such as a credit card to complete
the transaction. You can use your existing Coins to make a smaller
Appstore purchase within your balance. Any Coins you have purchased
that remain in your account after August 20, 2025 will be refunded.
What happens to my remaining Amazon Coins balance after August 20,
2025?
Any Coins you have purchased that remain in your account after August
20, 2025 will be refunded. Addtional details concerning refunds will
be shared at a later date.
