Debian Reunion Hamburg Logo

March 3rd until March 10th 2024 at dock europe / fux / altona.

  * 7 days of just hacking together on Debian & FLOSS.
  * no talks on stages, no video.
  * wifi inside and outside the venue.
  * lunch and dinner provided on site by Cantina.
  * daily stand up meetings after lunch.
  * accommodation for up to 30 people on site.
  * two hacklabs: a noisy and a (more) silent one.
  * one irc channel: #debconf-hamburg on irc.debian.org
  * please be respectful and excellent to each other! (Code of
    Conduct)
  * the event is aimed at around 42 people: around 30 can stay stay
    at dock europe and there's hacking space of 143m2, so eventually
    it get's crowded.
  * this is the 6th Debian event at this venue so please excuse
    reusing last years venue description.
  * some event organisation is needed.
  * a pad to keep track what we've been working on.

registration, accomodation and financial support

  * Registration is mandatory. Please also subscribe to the event
    mailinglist when registering for the event.
  * free accommodation (=beds at the venue) for Debian & FLOSS
    contributors.
  * business supporter accommodation options for Debian & FLOSS
    contributors for 250EUR or 500EUR - please get in touch.

  * event sponsors wanted:
      + basic: >1000EUR
      + extended: >3000EUR
      + partner: >5000EUR
  * Debian is our partner already: this event and it's budget has
    been DPL approved. \o/
      + we are happy to have one business supporter voluntarily
        paying 500E!

specific activities & sprints

  * probably on Wednesday (=or some other day) we'll have a Cheese
    and Wine Party.
  * working on EU Cyber Resilience Act and consequences for Debian
    (ilu).
  * we might do some day trip (=non hacking activity outside).
