 Description

cool-retro-term is a terminal emulator which mimics the look and feel
of the old cathode tube screens. It has been designed to be
eye-candy, customizable, and reasonably lightweight.

It uses the QML port of qtermwidget (Konsole): https://github.com/
Swordfish90/qmltermwidget.

This terminal emulator works under Linux and macOS and requires Qt5.
It's suggested that you stick to the latest LTS version.

Settings such as colors, fonts, and effects can be accessed via
context menu.

 Install

If you want to get a hold of the latest version, just go to the
Releases page and grab the latest AppImage (Linux) or dmg (macOS).

Alternatively, most distributions such as Ubuntu, Fedora or Arch
already package cool-retro-term in their official repositories.

 Building

Check out the wiki and follow the instructions on how to build it on
Linux and macOS.
