FAQ's

What are the minimum hardware requirements ?

A Quad-core cpu with AVX2 instructions. Currently we support only
x86_64 architectures.

What is video intelligence ?

Video intelligence is about extracting meaningful information from
videos. It can make videos more searchable (finding a person or an
object in the video).

Why this product ?

Existing solutions can be very resource intensive or generally
doesn't have real-time performance, limiting creative applications
that could be possible with computer-vision. We aim to take full
advantage of modern CPUs to create native GUI applications powered by
modern computer-vision techniques.

Why some features are missing ?

This is beta version. Some the features we are working on -
* Allow to search for a lot more categories of objects.
* Save the generated index for a video.
* User interface improvements. (based on early feedback)
* Allow to save/load a database created.

Why is this free ?

We started developing this for personal purposes and decided to
release it hoping that others can find it useful too. This
application has ZERO telemetry/analytics crap, we are trying to speed
up the application not slow it down. We may have some paid additional
features in upcoming releases depending upon the feedback, but NEVER
any sort of tracking code. We are actively looking for bugs/feedback.

What personal data do you store ?

Only personal information we store is your email and hashed-password
whenever you signup. All payment-related information is processed by
Level 1 PCI DSS Compliant Razorpay. Your credit card or PayPal
credentials are never directly handled by or stored on Ramanlabs.in
servers.

What are Licensing Conditions ?

End user License allows this product to be used only for personal
purposes. You can however run it on any personal number of devices
you own , because basically it is just a binary file that runs fully
local.
