I don't recall putting a payment method in, as I used the platform early last year to get free invitation samples, but i changed my debit card not longer after that. However, this is very terrifying and Zola isn't addressing it. It's been hours and the tweets are flooding in from brides that have had their money and credits completely wiped out. These hackers are buying damn gift cards with their wedding money. I tried signing on VIA the app, and it said I'm not in the US. EDIT: Finally got the change password email...... but it took me right back to their homepage. And while I was on their Twitter profile, bot accounts are responding to messages, directing them to profiles on Instagram to "help" recover their account. This appears to be a coordinated attack on Zola. FINAL EDIT: The change password links are now working. Finally got mine, and was able to reset. I'm guessing a hacker maybe got in, but saw that there was no payment information or Zola credits on file, and moved on to a different account. And I was heavily relieved to see when I got the sample invitations 10 months ago, they were free, so, I didn't even put in payment information whew. All I know is Zola is going to have to answer some hard questions about how they allowed this to happen. I got an email with a verification code for someone trying to log into my Zola account, followed by a spam bomb of hundreds of random emails saying I've subscribed to a bunch of things. Seems this is a common tactic hackers use to try to hide any real important email alerts. Unfortunately by the time my fiance and I changed my email password and checked all of our important financial accounts, I got the text alerts that a $1500 purchase and then over $2000 purchase were made on my credit card for Zola. The email confirmations showed that the first was for a honeymoon cash fund and the second for a backyard furniture set meant for a Jerry Onuaguluchi & Michell Davis (assuming a fake account to steal our money). I don't recall allowing Zola to save my credit card information when I bought my invitations, but they must have it on file and there's no way for me to delete it from my account. I've cancelled the card and reported the fraudulent charges, but haven't been able to get a hold of Zola by phone even during their hours. There's no option to cancel the orders but I doubt they'll go through anyways. We do have some cash gifts we worry are ripe for the taking, but don't feel comfortable entering our banking info to retrieve the money right now. Changing the account password didn't seem to kick the hacker out as I had to remove a couple hundred dollars worth of Uber gift cards still, and they tried to change my account email to a similar fake one that ended in @yopmail.com. We definitely won't be allowing any further gifts through the registry now, but hoping Zola will respond to our email and resolve this issue. I also disconnected my bank account and reached out to my bank to see what steps I should take even though there was no suspicious activity. I am worried that even if you change your password if someone else was logged in as you on a computer it won't automatically kick them out because I was still logged in on the app until I physically selected sign out.
