I keep running into a strange bug. I'll start typing an e-mail message, and all of a sudden, my keystrokes are interpreted as commands instead of text. For instance, I'll type a word with an "n" in it, like "and", and somehow after I type the "a", the interface starts grabbing keystrokes away from the text field, so when I hit "n", it creates a new message, and the "d" ends up going into the text field of this new message. It's very frustrating, because I can't type more than a couple of sentences before the message and interface get screwed up. I've seen this misbehavior for a while, through several updates of firefox. No other web app behaves this way. I've searched online, and I haven't found any mention of this bug. Has anyone else seen this? Any idea what's going on? Is it an Outlook bug? Firefox bug? Something in an extension? Help! I AM a fast typist, don't wish to type slowly. I can be just starting an email, in the middle of typing it all - to have it all 'lost'! On one occasion an important one from me 'disappeared' into Archive! I am presently having to save EVERY sentence or so into a 'draft' to avoid text 'disappearing'! MOST frustrating! It's also extremely time-wasting. I do prefer to use my laptop as over several decades now, I am what is called a 'touch typist' so, although I occasionally use an Android tablet for when I go away, I find that very 'slow - going' re. my typing text in properly. PE PeterKemp6 Replied on April 1, 2022 ReplyIn reply to Qian Zhang MSFT's post on November 26, 2021 I rasied it with my support team (I'm in an org of about 45k users), we had a call with MS support who recognised the issue and have apparently escalated to the MS problem management team and "They also have recommended using Edge browser." I've asked my support team to request that MS change their wording around Firefox on the supprted browsers page, as it's misleading and has been misleading for at least the last 5 months. I'll let you know if I hear back from this. Why a MS rep hasn't been involved in this conversation on this website for several months is rather strange.
