YouTube tried to scare me with a warning saying I would no longer get ads related to my interests. Didn't work. The ads I get are really fascinating because they are all over the map. I learn stuff about interesting corners of the world and business that I never would have been aware of. On the other hand I do still also get a lot of crap ads. Anyway on the survey while it's clearly a false dichotomy, and that is the best answer, the fear mongering answer is also arguably plausible, and it leads me to think these surveys are constructed by an automated process that is not itself aware of when it is introducing possible conflicting additional valid answers. Over the years of taking them during my time at school, I started to notice a pattern among the questions and ended up getting extremely high scores, just because the tests seem to have a small pool of questions.
