Coding and Computational Thinking with Virtual SPIKE Prime curriculum
features a programming interface and virtual robot embedded directly
within the curriculum. Teachers and students can follow along with
the included videos, animations, challenges, and step-by-step lessons
designed to help beginners learn coding and computational thinking.

robots to teach Computer Science, Science, Technology, Engineering,
and Mathematics (CS-STEM). Our mission is to use the educational
affordances of robotics to create CS-STEM opportunities for all

solutions that are classroom-tested and foreground CS-STEM concepts.

The Robotics Academy hosts robotics competitions, provides training,
organizes conferences, and conducts research on how to use robotics
to teach CS-STEM concepts. Click here to view some of the partners

Carnegie Mellon's Robotic Academy staff and development team are
housed in the National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC), where
robots for business, government, and industry are designed,
prototyped, and tested just outside our office doors. The NREC is
part of the Carnegie Mellon University - Robotics Institute, a
world-renowned robotics organization.

North Hills Students Resume SMART to Complete Software Foundations
for the 2021-2022 School Year
Students from North Hills area school district in Pittsburgh are back
at it with the SMART Robotics Technician program for the 2021-2022
school year! This program is being run by our friends at the Will
Allen Foundation.

Today CMRA hosted a session to talk to high school students from
Insight PA Cyber Charter School to give the students there an idea of
the type of work that we do, but also have some fun while doing it.
