Tips

Don't be afraid to scroll down in the search results, unlike in many
other search engines, depending on what you are looking for, you may
find the best results in the middle of the listing.

Search results are not exhaustive. You can eke out more results by
tweaking your query.

The search engine doesn't use synonyms. If you don't find anything
with Duck, try Ducks, Anatidae, or Aquatic Bird.

The search engine now has limited support for sequences of words.
"Judas Priest", for example, will return fewer results pertaining to
traitorous apostles than will inquiring after Judas Priest.

New! You can now look up dictionary definitions for words. If you for
example don't know what the definition of is is, you can inquire
thus: define:is.

New! Convenience functions have been added, and the search engine can
now perform simple calculations and unit conversions. Try 1 pint in
cubic centimeters, or 50+sqrt(pi). This functionality is still under
development, be patient if it doesn't work.
