We never distributed any copyrighted material - all old game files can still be directly downloaded from Riot's CDN. Chronoshift has not interacted with the live game, or live game accounts, in any way, shape or form. Chronoshift was never going to go past a patch in early season 2, and was not designed to compete with the live game. This project has always been about the preservation of the early seasons of the game that can not be experienced anymore, a time capsule for something long gone that people still express a lot of interest in to this day. In this case, however, since the "threat" is legal action this would most probably be seen as a legal settlement even though it very much appears to be either extortion or blackmail (or both). However, to be seen as a settlement the person in question would need to be acting as a legal representative of the company. I would not believe that "Zed" is in any way authorized to act as a legal representative of Riot Games.
