Who are we?

We're a group of product-minded engineers with a proven track record
creating successful productivity tools in the past.

Why did we create rmap.io?

We've used tons of different tools for creating roadmaps in the past:
dedicated roadmap software, kanban boards, wiki tools, spreadsheets
and design tools.

Some common problems with these tools are that they:

  * are too complicated and slow to use
  * fail to communicate and visualize the big picture
  * require a designer to create beautiful roadmaps
  * just make you angry 

We were previously working on a product solving complex scheduling
problems involving thousands of tasks and constraints. When we
realized that we had users (including ourselves) that were using our
scheduler to create product roadmaps (and enjoyed it!), we knew we
had to see how far we could take it.

Who is this for?

Anyone who's felt pain while creating roadmaps, really. Especially if
you, like us, wish it was just as easy as drawing a diagram in https:
//draw.io.

We're still working on the product. The alpha version is ready but we
