About Fathom

Fathom is a better way to remember and share what happened on your
Zoom calls.

Instead of trying to hurriedly take notes while also having a
conversation, you simply push a button in our app whenever you hear
something important, like a piece of product feedback or action item.
In real-time our system records, transcribes, and creates clips from
the parts of the conversation that you tagged so you can share them
with your team, send them to Slack, or use them to write post-call
notes.

We're a small (<10), fully-remote team that's engineering heavy and
fully embodies principles of servant leadership.

About the role

Skills: Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), MySQL, Redis

We're a fast-growing product looking to bring on our first full-time
SRE/DevOps person to our 6-person engineering team.

Though we're still in stealth, this role is critically important to
us as we prepare for a massive crush of usage (from 100s of users to
>100K users) from an impending launch with a well-known,
publicly-traded partner.

This role is an opportunity for someone who's worked in DevOps and
infrastructure teams to come in and be THE person that scales our
infrastructure and our infrastructure team.

  * At least 3 years of infrastructure experience and ideally 5+
  * Experience scaling write-heavy applications
  * Experience with our tech stack: Rails, MySQL, Redis, Typescript,
    Go, GCP (k8s), AWS (MediaLive + S3)

We're seed funded and offer equity, market rate salaries, and full
benefits.

Technology

We have both a desktop app (Electron) as well as a Web App (Rails).
The backend is AWS (S3 & MediaLive) combined with GCP (for the core
application).
