God’s promises FOR YOU.

WHEREBY are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

II Peter 1:4.

1st. His presence.

TEACHING them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Matthew 28:20.

2nd. Guidance.

I WILL instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Psalms 32:8.

3rd. Divine Intercession.

WHO is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Romans 8:34.

4th. Grace to live.

AND God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.

II Corinthians 9:8.

5th. Victory over temptation.

THERE hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

I Corinthians 10:13.

6th. Forgiveness of sin.

I WILL forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Jeremiah 31:34.

7th. Answer to prayer.

THEREFORE I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Mark 11:24.

8th. The Holy Spirit.

IF ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Luke 11:13.

9th. Power for Service.

BUT ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 1:8.

10th. Divine wisdom.

IF any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James 1:5.

11th. Divine strength.

FEAR thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God, I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. . . . For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not, I will help thee.

Isaiah 41:10, 13

12th. Divine Comfort.

I WILL not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

John 14:18.

WHEN thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned.

Isaiah 43:2

13th. Divine teaching.

BUT the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 14:26.

14th. Our Labor not Vain.

THEREFORE, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

I Corinthians 15:58.

15th. Our work rewarded.

BE ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

II Chronicles 15:7.

16th. A Heavenly mansion.

LET not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

John 14:1-2.

17th. A glorified body.

FOR we know that, if our earthly house of this tabernacle (our physical bodies) were dissolved (dead), we have a building of God, a house not made with hands (the resurrection body), eternal in the heavens.

II Corinthians 5:1.

18th. A Coming Lord.

SO Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Hebrews 9:28.

THIS same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
