Corrective firmware:
====================

This version of firmware corrects an error in the previous levels of 
firmware with respect to the antenna power setting parameter in the User Interface.  
For "High" antenna power settings, select "High" and for "Low" antenna power settings select "Low".

The corrective firmware filename is: fw1.10.5.bt.

Warning:
========

Prior to installing this upgrade release of firmware, you must upgrade to the Version 1.1 that 
is currently posted on the 3Com website at:  www.3com.com.

The download file is:  ap8_v1.10.zip.  Follow instructions supplied in that file to complete 
that initial upgrade.  The next step is to proceed to this upgrade release.

Upgrading to Version 1.10.5
===========================

Overview of Upgrade Procedures
------------------------------

To perform an upgrade, you must have a TFTP server set up on the device that has the upgrade 
file saved.

From the 3Com Wireless Infrastructure Device Manager, select the Upgrade option.  
Set the address of the TFTP server to be used and save.  Then select the option for 
the firmware upgrade and specify the filename:  fw1.10.5.bt.  Execute the upgrade option.

Upon completion of a successful upgrade, the Access Point 8000 will reset.

From the 3Com Wireless Infrastructure Device Manager after the reset, confirm that the antenna 
power setting is set as required.
