Preliminary instructions for upgrading the Access Point 6000 to Version 3

The files that will be extracted are as follows:

3srapfw.bin -  This is the Access Point 6000 firmware
3srapfs.bin -  This is the Access Point 6000 file system firmware
setup.exe   -  This file, when executed, will install the Wireless Infrastructure 
	       Device Management tool (WIDMan).
readmeV3.txt - This readme file describes the features and upgrade process
readfirst.txt - Read this file first!

Installing the upgrade files
============================

The file ap6_v30.exe is a self-extracting file.  Place the file "ap6_v30.exe" in
a previously created directory on the computer.  Execution of the file "ap6_v30.exe" from
the DOS prompt in the defined directory will extract the 5 files mentioned above.

Installing the Wireless Infrastructure Device Management tool
=============================================================

Locate the file "setup.exe" in the directory defined above.  Execute the file "setup.exe"
and proceed with the installation of the Wireless Infrastructure Device Management
(WIDMan) tool.

The WIDMan tool is now installed.  Note that this tool will NOT inter-operate with 
the Access Point Version 2.  DO NOT attempt to proceed with the upgrade of the version 2 
Access Point 6000 firmware to the new version 3 firmware using the WIDMan tool.  
Use the version 2 Access Point Management to complete the upgrade to version 3.0.  
Once the upgrade is completed, then execute the WIDMan tool to manage the Access Point 6000.
