Windows 95/98 & DOS Memory Configuration
=================================================

In order to solve memory related problems with Windows 95/98 and DOS,
we have created a small application that will rename your existing
AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS to AUTOEXEC.SOL and CONFIG.SOL
respectively. It will then create new AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS
files (on the root directory of your C: drive) which should free
enough memory to play the game.

The application assumes that you have a standard Windows 95/98 setup
and that all your Windows files are installed in C:\Windows\.

To execute the application choose Run from the Start menu, type:

D:\EXTRAS\FIXMEM and click OK.
(where D: is the letter of your CD-ROM drive)

Once the application has finished, you should restart your computer
for the changes to take effect.

Windows 95 will internally handle the soundcard, CD-ROM drive, and
mouse. There is no need to load DOS-mode drivers.

If you require DOS drivers to access your CD-ROM drive, mouse and
sound card in DOS mode, then check the original lines in CONFIG.SOL
and AUTOEXEC.SOL, and add them to the new ones by replacing the
<<text>> in brackets.

If you see "File not found" or "Bad command or file name" displayed
while rebooting your machine, this is because you have not specified
the path to your drivers to be loaded in your AUTOEXEC.BAT and
CONFIG.SYS (Windows95/98 users should ignore this as these messages
will not affect your configuration).

When you have finished playing the game, you should replace your
original configuration files. To do this type the following:

D:\EXTRAS\UNDO and click OK.

This will restore backup versions of your original startup files.

Then restart your computer.
