Justice Bruce Thomas came to a quick decision and acquitted Ratcliffe in the Superior Court of Justice Friday after beginning the trial on Monday. "I do not know who fired those seven shots,” said Thomas. Shots were fired from a vehicle into a crowd on April 9, 2022, around 1 a.m. outside Super Bowl Lanes in Forest Glade. Windsor police previously said there were upwards of 25 people in the crowd and five people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Five people were also arrested in relation to the incident, including Ratcliffe. Last April, a judge sentenced two men involved in the shooting to eight months of house arrest each. Step brothers Joshua Fryer and Andrew Meloche admitted to being in the vehicle from where the shots were fired. It’s Ratcliffe who was being accused of pulling the trigger. More to come.
