# Site Updates

I've added some downloads to the "Player and GM Resources" section
of this site [0]:

- The text of the Balrog monster entry, from the very first printing
  of D&D in 1974, and subsequently removed after a complaint by the
  Tolkien estate [1].

- Gary Gygax's article from Europa Magazine in 1976, titled "FIRST
  ADVENTURES IN DUNGEONEERING" [2].

- Gary Gygax's own original D&D house rules, compiled from his later
  games where he was using just the first three booklets [3].

- The original Thief class, after an idea given to Gary Gygax over
  the phone by Gary Schweitzer [4]. You'll notice this version has
  d6 hit dice, and so is suitable for a 3LBB campaign. I'll have
  more to say on this in a future post.

- The LL AEC rogues gallery [5], which I discussed before on this
  phlog [6].
