RAY'S PIZZARIA, SAN ANTONIO, TX (Posted 2013-05-22 14:57:27 by Ray Lopez) Located on Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio, just had their grand opening today. They claim that they are "N.Y. Style" pizza.  I dearly miss pizzas from Jersey and NY, so I figured I'd give it a try. They pretty much nailed it!  The pizza was very good and was very much like the style you'd get in NY or NJ.  Thin crust with a greasy, tasty sauce, it was very good.  The ambiance is OK, a wide open room with rows of tables, not like the cramped little pizza joints you would actually see in NY or Jersey.  The service was typical for San Antonio: lame.  Attractive, unfriendly young ladies who didn't want to be at work. Professor Ray assigns the following grades: * Food:  A * Ambiance: B * Service: C+ -------- There are no comments on this post.
