I am glad to introduce _The Private Stronghold_, my first ADMIN 
Magazine article. This piece is an introduction to the **Citadel** 
*Bulletin Board System* (BBS), which is a groupware solution that 
integrates calendars, forums, email and chat in an admin-friendly 
package.

Citadel software has a long story. The project dates from the days of 
early telnet Bulletin Board Systems, but has evolved greatly since its 
early days. It can still be used as a telnet forum of sorts, but 
nowadays a web interface is provided for convenience.

My article, published on ADMIN Magazine #57, offers an overview of the 
Citadel solution, alonside an installation and configuration tutorial.
