CINEMICA RESURRECTIO

Cinemica Resurrectio was an underground film event hosted as part of
Nitetime's media-curation work. Its program drew on rare material,
public-domain films, and completed film fragments for independent
collectors and people who prefer their cinema a little dusty around
the sprocket holes.

The name points toward the work: cinema brought back into motion.
Not content reduced to a thumbnail, but a reel, fragment, or orphaned
image given a room and an audience again.

Within Nitetime, the event belongs beside late-night B-movie
transmissions, garage television, damaged tapes, and the practical
labor of keeping unusual media visible. Curation here is a form of
repair. Exhibition is a way of returning an object to circulation.
