BACKSTORY
---------

HW-9000 is a futuristic, AI-driven wrestling robot inspired by the HAL 9000
computer from 2001: A Space Odyssey. A team of eccentric scientists merged
advanced robotics with wrestling technique to create the ultimate grappler:
intelligence, strategy, and brute force in one machine. The scientists lose
control of HW-9000, which breaks free from the lab determined to outperform
every human athlete.


APPEARANCE
----------

HW-9000 has a sleek metallic body and LED lights that change color with its
in-ring emotions. Its high-tech visor resembles HAL's red eye and can
project holograms or digital messages during matches. Its circuit-patterned
wrestling singlet includes a glowing belt that displays "I AM IN CONTROL"
in various languages.

  HW-9000 simulates a data spike, launching itself from the top rope for a
