NODE IDENTITY FAILURE

During a wake cycle, Node 19 received a maintenance message addressed
to Node 608. The same message arrived at Node 44 and at a location not
yet commissioned.

The operators wrote:

    SIGNALS APPEAR IN MULTIPLE PLACES.
    RECORDINGS HAPPEN BEFORE BROADCASTS.
    OPERATORS HEAR THEIR OWN FUTURE WORDS.

Their conclusion was not that the network had become haunted. It was
that the network was losing the distinction between here and there.
