THE EMERGENCY SUPPLIES

The station has enough canned food, water and batteries for three people
for eleven days. The dates on the tins are from 1985.

One shelf has been opened recently. The dust on the floor shows a path
from the quarters to the radio room, then back again. Whoever remained
after the disconnection was not trapped by accident. Someone chose to
keep listening.
