THE ARRIVAL CORRIDOR

Node 19 appears abandoned. It has been abandoned since approximately
1986, but the dust is wrong. Some surfaces hold forty years of it. Other
places look as if someone walked through yesterday.

Old radios, CRT monitors, emergency supplies and paper logs line the
corridor. A dead fluorescent tube flickers when you pass.

Behind one door, a relay clicks. Behind another, a clock ticks backward.
The station is not powered, but something is still operating.
