You close the service door, climb the ladder, remove the key and lock
the hatch.

The Garage returns to normal. For several days, nothing happens.

Then the hatch disappears again.

The terminal reports:

    NODE 608: UNATTENDED
    MAINTENANCE OVERDUE

Safe for now. Not solved.
