letters:

    BELOW
    RETURN ONLY

Someone painted over an older warning. The paint has peeled enough to
show:

    NO PERSONNEL BELOW RETURN LINE

Someone later wrote in pencil:

    IGNORE THIS

The handwriting is the same as the note that told you not to identify
the operator in Book One.
