that previously led nowhere.

It now displays:

    AUTHORIZED SURFACE NODE
    FIELD TRANSFER AVAILABLE
    SELECT DESTINATION

Several destinations are unreadable or unavailable. One is selectable:

    NODE 19 -- LOST

The terminal gives one final warning:

    FIELD OPERATORS MAY NOT RETURN BY SAME PATH

Then:

    SIGNAL ACTIVE

You have gained permission to leave Node 608. The next incident begins
somewhere else in Wisconsin.
