LARRY

Larry does not appreciate being awakened for radio ghosts. He listens
to the receiver for several seconds, then stops complaining.

He reaches behind an old shelf and pulls out a cassette tape.

"How long has that been there?" you ask.

"Longer than you," Larry says.

The tape is marked:

    PLAY ONLY AFTER FIRST SIGNAL

Larry admits somebody told him years ago that if Channel 33 appeared,
the station was supposed to shut down and nobody was supposed to answer.

"Who told you?"

He shrugs. "Guy who had the equipment before us."
