I learned about fish leather in Alaska, where you can have leather from like any animal if you find the right craftsperson. Fish leather is very lovely and can have many attractive finishes. It's one of those things I like enough to want to take a class maybe.
Though when you talk about fish leather most people will immediately ask "Like, fruit leather, or...?"
