The ants are definitely up to something
Humans-B-Gone! is a labour of love animated series about a society of colossal sapient arthropods where humans are vermin. The series mostly follows a timorous tarantula, a mouthy mantis and the titular pest-control service. Don't worry - there's extensive translation (audio, pheremonal and visual) to make things legible to a human audience. You should thank Professor Gregorsa. Or possibly Rev Storm. With season 1 complete, episode 1 sets the scene, or jump right into the action with Episode 2.
Episodes have substantial unobtrusive footnotes explaining the real-world and in-universe science behind what you've just seen. There's even points to be scored! And don't worry pedants - the square-cube law is in full effect, it simply plays second fiddle to The Unknown Nature.
Episodes also available on Newgrounds if you prefer.

Squee. So many cute spiders and weevils and mantids and flies and... well, the ants kinda seem to be jerks.

Switching the viewpoint to have humans as vermin reminds me of Of Men and Monsters, by William Tenn, but there the focus in on the adventures of a particular vermin human.
