Are Lego fans about to "Get Lucky"?
Lego fansite announces possible Daft Punk set. Lego fan site The Brickfan is reporting that a new Lego collaboration with Daft Punk will be announced tomorrow (October 22, 2026).
Here's the teaser trailer.
This "Daft Punk Concert" set might be the one. From the Lego Ideas site: "4 years ago, this set won the Grand Prize in the global LEGO competition Music To Our Ears!, though it wasn't selected to become an official set."

This looks awesome! Here's hoping it doesn't cost two hundred bucks.

But the idea has legs. I'd probably want that set.

If they don't release a Technic set that allows you to build the Technologic robot I don't even know what they're doing.

Eyeveex, The proposed Ideas set has 2,000 pieces. Lego sets are usually around 10 cents per piece (unless they're for certain licensed properties, like Star Wars, which cost more). So...$200 is actually a good estimate for a Lego set of this size.
However, official Lego sets are rarely exactly like the proposed Ideas sets, so there could be a different number of pieces in the final set.

A US$200 kit might encourage my twin 9yo boys to work together and save up a bit. They've certainly already internalized the French Funk Robots' lesson that by working harder they can make things better, and that doing things faster can make them stronger.
I'm just not looking forward to the day they learn that more than ever? Hour after hour? Under capitalism, work is never over.
