DEPENDENCIES:

* The Boost C++ libraries. (http://www.boost.org)

COMPILING AND INSTALLING:

./configure
make
make install

(the `make install` step should be executed with root privileges.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Usage:

By default mixdaemon will use /etc/mixdaemon.conf as configuration file.
It is possible to specify an alternate configuration file using the -c option.

Use the -h option to display additional help.

The -d option will run mixdaemon in daemon mode (ie: in non-blocking mode;
it will run and immediatly return to the command prompt.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Configuration file syntax:

card: alsa cardname
port: tcp port number to listen on.
delay: Time in milliseconds to sleep during continious output. A lower value
will produce more frequent volume reports.
