I'm creating this file since there was no other README with
slipdaemon when I got it and there was no man page.

These files are as I compiled them with the exception of
the removal of my slip login info. You'll find the words:

	"PUT LOGIN HERE"
and "PUT PASSWORD HERE"

in slipdaemon.c where you should put your login and password.
Otherwise, everything is as I use it.

As the person that passed it on to me wrote, it's kind of a hack,
with input probably from many people, but it does work for me with the
CSI Hurdler and the driver I wrote for it. While I'm mentioning this card,
I should note that to make use of this program, you DO need to have a port
that recognizes DCD on the GPi Din-8 pin so that if the connection(line)
drops, slipdaemon will get a SIGHUP and restart SL/IP.

As a guide, the following (single) line is what I use to invoke
the program:

/usr/etc/slipdaemon /dev/hxs4 -D -a -r -f 50 9825658 \
								198.178.173.3 164.109.201.3 255.255.255.0

where 198.178.173.3 is my address and 164.109.201.3 is that of my
provider, 9825658 is his telephone number and 50 is to designate the B50
baud flag in order to tell my driver I want 57,600 baud.

Insofar as the options, I'm afraid slipdaemon.c is going to have to
be the only guide for now. Lines following line 365 are rather informative.
If I find further info, I'll post it.

If there are any questions, or if anyone has problems getting
this running, I'd be glad to try to help by e-mail.
