Weather Situation A ridge of high pressure system lies over much of SA and is expected to persist over southern SA into Thursday. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure over the far northwest is expected to linger along the northern border today. The trough will extend further south on Thursday, before moving eastwards across the west and south of SA on Friday.
