Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure system lies over much of SA and is expected to persist
over southern SA into Thursday. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure over the
far northwest is expected to linger along the northern border today. The trough
will extend further south on Thursday, before moving eastwards across the west
and south of SA on Friday. Another ridge of high pressure will move over the
south during the weekend as the trough moves into the northeast.

Clear. Winds southeasterly 25 to 35 km/h.

Forecast for Thursday 11 December
Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a shower near the coast in the morning and
afternoon. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm in
the afternoon and evening. Winds east to southeasterly 25 to 40 km/h. Overnight
temperatures falling to between 16 and 24 with daytime temperatures reaching 32
to 38.
