Weather Situation
A trough of low pressure lingers through inland parts of SA today, weakening
overnight. A high pressure system over waters to the south, extends a ridge
over southern SA. On Monday the high moves into the Tasman Sea directing a
northerly airstream over SA, ahead of another trough expected to move into the
west and across the south on Tuesday. The trough moves into the eastern states
on Wednesday as another high pressure system moves into waters south of the
Bight to reach the Tasman Sea on Thursday whilst still maintaining a ridge over
southern SA.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 25 January
Clear. Winds southerly 15 to 25 km/h.

Forecast for Monday 26 January
Sunny. Winds south to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending northwest to
southwesterly in the middle of the day then becoming light in the evening.
Overnight temperatures falling to between 17 and 21 with daytime temperatures
reaching the mid 40s.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 January
Sunny morning. The chance of a thunderstorm with little or no rainfall in the
evening. Winds northeast to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending northwest to
northeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the morning then tending south to southwesterly
25 to 40 km/h in the early afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to the mid
to high 20s with daytime temperatures reaching the high 40s.
