Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure system lies over much of SA and is expected to persist
over southern SA into Thursday. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure over the
far northwest is expected to linger along the northern border today. The trough
will extend further south on Thursday, before moving eastwards across the west
and south of SA on Friday. Another ridge of high pressure will move over the
south during the weekend as the trough moves into the northeast.

Clear. Winds southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h.

Forecast for Thursday 11 December
Sunny. Winds southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light before dawn then
becoming southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h in the morning. Overnight temperatures
falling to between 8 and 12 with daytime temperatures reaching around 30.
