Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Bight extends a ridge of high pressure over
most of the state and will persist over southern SA during Wednesday and
Thursday. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure over the far northwest is
expected to move along the northern border on Wednesday. The trough will extend
further south on Thursday then move eastwards across the west and south of SA
on Friday. Another ridge of high pressure will move over the south over the
weekend and the trough will move slowly northeastwards.

Mostly clear. Winds southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h.

Forecast for Wednesday 10 December
Partly cloudy. Medium chance of showers in the south in the morning. Near zero
chance of rain elsewhere. Winds southeasterly 25 to 35 km/h. Overnight
temperatures falling to between 13 and 16 with daytime temperatures reaching 25
to 34.
